The sessions for the evaluation test will take place only until all available places are taken.
The “Bachelor Sc. Degree in Physiotherapy” aims at training health workers with all necessary knowledge and competence in order to perform the profession of Physiotherapist.
The Course aims at giving the students the ground knowledge at quality and quantity levels in relation to biological and pathological phenomena, cultural basis of physiopathology as well as a specific knowledge of physiotherapy and rehabilitation techniques and their application thanks to clinical practical training. The Course’s main target is the students to learn theoretical and practice aspects in order to develop the right attitudes for physiotherapy treatments with high professionalism and responsibility levels towards the patients and the whole work team. The student will have to interact with competence and awareness with the other professionals (doctors, nurses, ergotherapists, psychologists, sociologists).
At the end of the course of study, the student will have achieved a good level of professional, decisional and operating autonomy. The course’s academic education also concerns health problems of both healthy and ill people in a holistic way, considering the physical, psychological and social environment of the patient.
Title recognition
All students are registered at the State University “Semmelweis University”, and attend the courses at the L.U.de.S. - accredited Semmelweis University Campus of Lugano (Switzerland).
At the end of the course, once all intermediate and the final state examination have been passed, The State Semmelweis University releases the “Bsc. in Physiotherapy”, a qualification which is recognized and allowing to perform the profession in the origin country (Hungary).
At the end of the Course, in addition to the Bachelor of Sc. Degree in Physiotherapy and the transcript, the University will release the EU Diploma Supplement, called “Europass”, according to decision 2141/2004 reached by the European Parliament and Council.
The students achieving the “BSc. in Physiotherapy” released by the State Semmelweis University” (qualifying for the practice of the profession of physiotherapist in the native country), may work in the European Union complying with the procedures set up by the competent Ministries of every country.

Preparatory courses
The University offers the students the opportunity to take part in preparatory courses in the following subjects: biology, chemistry, physics, maths, research methodology and medical terminology. Preparatory courses take place before the beginning of the Academic Year.
The University also offers Italian-language and English-language preparatory courses. These courses are subject to the payment of a fee and take place before the beginning of the Academic Year.
